The True BBQ Blog

Hi, I'm Dave, and welcome to "The True BBQ Blog". Each recipe I feature will include a short, entertaining video that will explain both tips and pitfalls.

Consider this BBQ blog your fully sanctioned online BBQ class!

One word of warning. Occasionally I will post my favorite recipe that does not include BBQ or grilling. I hope you like those as well.

I would highly suggest signing up for the RSS feed, where you will be informed immediately of new recipes and videos as I post them.

Simply click on the orange button at the top left to subscribe.

If you know nothing about RSS feeds, click on question mark just above the orange button.

Trust me, you'll love it. It will change the way you manage the Internet. You can also use your Google, MSN or Yahoo accounts to stay up to date as well.

Feb 7, 2010, I Know This Is a BBQ Website....But.....It's the Superbowl!

I have to go on the record to make a prediction for tonight's Superbowl.

Colts win. 34 - 21.

Keys to watch in my opinion are how Reggie Bush plays for the Saints. If he runs north to south versus his habit of running east to west, Colts may be in trouble as that will keep the fast Colts defense honest.

For the Colts defense, everyone is talking about Freeney, but the key will be his backup, Raheem Brock. This guy is a stud, and he will see a lot of action tonight. I predict at least one sack for him, and a few "knock downs" of Brees.

Enjoy the Superbowl! I have a bunch of buddies all over the country fixing the Italian Beef Sandwiches for tonight. I hope your eats are good as well!
