Third annual I Love Barbecue Festival - July 4-6th in a beautiful Lake Placid, New York. Lake Placid, New York home of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympic Games, also home for the third annual I Love Barbecue Festival (ILBBQF).

42 professional bbq teams will square off for the title of Grand Champion, New York State Champion on the Olympic speed skating oval - the same oval where USA's Erik Hayden won 5 Olympic gold medals in 1980.

ILBBQF is KCBS sanctioned event with $10,000 in prize money. We are expecting very experienced teams to attend ILBBQF. Teams like 2006 Jack Daniels BBQ World Champion - cancersuckschicago.com, 2007 ILBBQF Grand Champion the Purple Turtle Catering Company, 2006 ILBBQF Grand Champion - I Smell Smoke. Fantastic teams like Lost Nation Smoke company, Beef Rubbers, Philly Pigs, Q Haven, I Que, Hog Heaven BBQ, The Anchormen, Lunchmeat and others are coming back. Former Food Network bbq guru Jack McDavid is coming back with his Jack's Downhome bbq team to try to win the Grand Champion title.
